1. How long have you been doing weddings? And what is the normal size?

I have been a photographer for 15 years and have been a professional wedding photographer since 2017. I also travel around the nation for Mitsubishi Electric for their commercial and product photography. My wife and I have done weddings with 300+ guests but most weddings have around 150 guests.

2. How would you describe your style of photography?

A timeless romantic mood with lots of fun!

3. With the pictures how much do you edit? Do you leave it pretty natural looking and just do slight retouching with color adjustments or do you do much more?

We edit all the amazing photos from your wedding which is usually 600-700 final images. This depends on how many hours you booked us for. Our editing is extremely natural with most of it being color correction, exposure, and for the bride and groom I edit temporary blemishes. We keep everything as natural is possible and we really love to just let the moment unfold. We will do some "light directing" while you are getting ready and when we get your "Bride and Groom" portraits. We primarily focus on making the bride and groom feel as comfortable as possible when it comes to directing the perfect shot and making sure nothing looks posed. We understand that being in front of a camera all day can be intimidating but we make it fun for you and make you look as natural and relaxed as possible.

4. I know we build our own package for how many hours we need, with that do we just tell you what time to be there to start or do you have a set time that you arrive?

Depending on how many hours you pick we just want to make sure we are there for your grand exit. For example:  If you choose 8 hours of coverage and your "grand exit" is at 10:00PM we would like to show up by 2:00PM.

5. What is your payment plan like? How much do you require as a deposit to hold the day?

To book your wedding day we ask for 30% down and the remaining balance is to be paid either before or on your wedding day.

6. Do you have a set list of pictures that you always try to capture, or do you leave that up to us to formulate a list?

We have certain must have photos that we get throughout the day, however, if you have some photos in mind we ask that you put it on the "Bride and Groom Questionnaire" that way we can strive to get those photos for you

7. Do you have liability insurance? Our venue does require it so I just have to make sure.

Yes we have liability insurance and insurance on our photography gear.

8. Can we see a full gallery of a past wedding to see what most of the pictures look like?

Absolutely. I would more than happy to send you a full wedding to look at!

 9. Do you recommend doing a in person or phone meeting as well prior to discussing possible contracts if we do choose you?

We recommend meeting you in person - that way we can break the ice and get to know each other.

10. When will our photos be ready for viewing?

3-4 weeks following your wedding, we will have your beautiful high resolution images all on a flash drive just for you.

11. What camera do you shoot with?

I shoot with a full frame 35mm Sony A7RIV, Sony A9, and Sony A7III. I use a Sony 70–200mm GM 2.8 Lens, Sony 24-70mm GM 2.8 lens, Sony 16-35mm GM 2.8 lens, 90mm Sony G macro lens, 85mm GM 1.4 lens, 50mm GM 1.2 lens, and a 24mm GM 1.4. This is all of the highest Quality Glass on the Market and will give you the best quality images possible.

12. How many photographers will be at my wedding?

You can count on me being at your wedding. I will also have a second shooter taking photos from a different angle. Depending on the package I have an assistant to help with lighting, reflectors, etc.

13. How far in advance should we book your photography services for our wedding?

I recommend booking as soon as you are engaged due to many weekends filling up with weddings and photo shoots, so it is crucial that you reserve your place as soon as possible.

14. Why should I have an "UNPLUGGED" wedding?

Usually the guests at special events like to use their phones, tablets, and whatever other devices they may have to take pictures. That's good if there isn’t a photographer. However, having a professional photographer at your wedding reassures you that professional photos are being taken and at the highest quality possible. Therefore, there is no need for people to use their devices. For example: when I take a photo of a beautiful moment such as "the first kiss" and there's someone to the side with their phone doing the same thing it is distracting and can ruin that once in a lifetime moment. There are subtle ways to announce an unplugged wedding ceremony such as your programs or invitations but guests are encouraged to take photos at the reception.
